The venue of our camp was at sk sri pangkor,a malays school.Before we started our journey to that school ,we had heard some ghost stories about that school.We were paralysed by the stories.We reached our destination at 12sth i think .When we stepped into the school ,i was totally speechless.I was stunned! The school was like a dilapidated hut .When we headed to the classroom which was our so call 'hotel',i was 'no eyes to c '.Only 2 out of 6 lights and 2 out of 3 fans could funtion.I wondered how could i survive in this type of condition.
The worst thing was the toilet .It was dark and with no light at all for the ladies .Therefore,we decided to share the toilet and the boys were not allowed to say 'NO'...haha...
We had KFC for our lunch before we took the ferry to pangkor island.We did play around like a kid in Kfc and it was quite embarrassing as we were taking all sorts of funny pictures there.
When we had finished our preparations for our camp ,we quickly rushed to the toilet for our baths .The weather in pangkor was unexpectedly hot .Therefore,we must not skip our bath .After that ,we went to the beach to have a walk while we were waiting for our dinner to be ready .I was mesmerised by the breathtaking scenery at the beach .Words could hardly express how beautiful the 'egg yolk ' is.Ha xin yi and i were busying taking photo until some of the excos also beh tahan both of us ...haha...
After our dinner ,we went back to the school .We were very scared and therefore we decided to put on our sleeping bags and sleep on the table with our heads facing one another .We tried to have our pillow talk but unfortunately 2 of the excos,kok lun and mah chee cherng had to 'lapor diri 'to their beloved soul mate.haha...Therefore, we decided to sleep as quckly as possible before the others fell asleep ealier than us.
It was odd that all of us woke up at 3 am .We thought that we had slept for a very long time but when we looked at the watch it was only 3am .We could hardly sleep a wink that night because the tables was hard and not comfortable .
1st day of the camp
Early in the morning ,Kok Lun started to complain me because he said that i was talking the whole night when i was sleeping after 3am .I was shocked that i was so noisy the whole night BUT according to kok lun he couldn't understand what was i talking about.We were suffering from body achne and when Ter wei sms to albert and claimed that they would reach to pangkor in another half and hour ,we really hoped that he could bring the campers back to ipoh!
Around 10 am ,the opening ceremony begun .Then ,followed by the ice -breaking activities .After that,it's treasure hunt.The campers seemed to be very clever .I think within 1 1/2 hours they were abled to claim their ingredients from me.Here comes the cooking competition !Haha...According to the fedback from the campers ,this was the most challenging activities for them as they were not good in cooking.It's kinda funny when we saw them stunned .
I had to patrol after all the activities for the campers had ended .I was too exhausted and i had only slept for AN HOUR that day.
2nd day of the camp
As the member of the cooking team for this camp ,i had to wake up at 5 am to prepare breakfast (egg sandwich and milo)for the campers.Luckily ,james ,mei yee and other excos were helpful enough that they were willing to help us .I was deeply moved by their responds.
The worst thing was we had to prepare our breakfast in the open hall where there was no light.We were forced to use torch light as the source of light to enable us to cook.When the clock strike to 6.30am ,ter wei and zhun yeau woke the campers up by their wisels.Kar leng was responsible for the morning exercise.She taught the campers a very interesting and funny dance -ULTRAMAN DANCE which she was proud of it because this is the only dance she is good at.
Then ,at 9 am our Amazing Race conducted by Jia Yan ,zhan m ing and chee cherg started.I sieze the golden opprtunity to have a nap as my station at the beach started at 11am but i couldn't really fall asleep .
I din realise that my legs were allegic to the seawater .After about 1/2 hour,my legs turn into red and there were lots of rashes on my legs.
After our dinner ,we had our 'scene and clue' conducted by kar leng .Xinyi and i were the singer ,lala and actress,ah mei respectively in this activities .We really had a nice time during this activities .I think our images had spoilt because we were too 'outstanding' that night ,agree?haha...
Next ,we had camp fire .Our activities ended at 2am and we could only slept at 2.30am .
3rd day of the camp
It was raining this morning .After the morning exercise ,we had our breakfast -wan tan mee.The mee was too much for me and so i gave some of it to my guai zai-yah qi wen (yaki).haha....mah chee cherng and yaki were the voracious eater .Although they are thin,they can eat more than expected .
Around 2.30pm,we went to the port and it's time to say bye bye to pangkor .Most of us ended up with dark skin and big and dark eyes bags.I really miss my excos frens...
At last ,let me introduce to u our MADU~ ,KONG KAR CHUAN .he had become our nai ma edi ...haha...
