It's glad to say that my semester 1 for year 2 have officially ended!!! Assignments, labs, tests, presentations and exams, finally i can throw you aside for a month before a new semester begin in mid February.
I can say that the whole semester is full of tears and laughters. Lack of sleep, bad food in hostel, tonnes of assignments and 3 hours lab daily have drawn me crazy. I seriously need a break. This whole month of break is like a heaven to me as i can sleep until 11am every day, wake up with my breakfast ready on the table, watching TV without looking at the time on the clock, yum cha-ing with friends, hiking with besties and so on. My life now is so relaxing and i love it so much.
Second year is not a joke anymore.Things are getting tougher with C++ programming , networking, operating system and of course basic biochemistry and bio process. I have never dreamed that i will touch computer subjects in my tertiary education before and yet i need to deal with it for the very first time in this semester.
Struggling yet challenging subjects and assignments which i can say that i am not much interested as compare to biology, somehow i have widen my horizon by studying computer stuff. I know that this is not the end for me to deal with computer stuff as more of them are coming to me in the coming semesters such as databases, molecular modelling, multimedia design and much much more which need to relate to DNA and protein. When i think of them, it's another nightmare for me but yet i am ready to take up this challenge.
Talking about what i have learnt in this semester. I have learn how to write program with programming language and style, know more about what is networking and security ,operating system and webpage design.
